GENERAL VOTING INFORMATION

The Prince George's County Board of Elections - includes Registration, Accessibility, and Volunteers and your Districts. They are also looking for paid Election Judges.

The Maryland Board of Elections has a list of registered candidates and also allows for poll watchers and challengers to help protect the safety and legality of the election.

Municipality election information is here. (List of towns in Prince George's County here, though most are not municipalities - let me know if something is missing at info-at-pgcares.com.)

Ask your employer if they give time off with pay on Election Day for working at the polls - you might be surprised that some do. Can't get time off? Here are other things you can do.:

  • Make sure to vote. If you need a ride, get one. Need an Absentee Ballot? Get them early.
  • Early voting has recently been initiated (locations in Prince George's County).
  • Before voting, learn about the candidate and issues (see links below).
  • Educate your family, friends, and neighbors.
  • Provide a ride to a voter who needs one - we can now vote from polling place other than our own but you may not be able to vote for certain candidates.
